Stories

Sun Aug 24, 2008, 2:02 PM
I've spent many a night, day, or afternoon thinking of a way to make my stories that i've either written as scripts for animated shorts, live action films, or just all around comic books. Yet, to all my efforts, it seems pointless to keep trying. Sure it's fun to squeeze this pimple of literary crud out of my mind that has some semblance of anything possibly good, but I know i'll probably never have achieved any sort of goal like publishing it, filming it, or taking a short amount of time to animate a fraction of it.

so, here I am, just toiling away at another story that will never see the light of day, like all my others. It's premise involves Frankenstein. A well rounded being that's basically working as an hired gun for whatever nation that is in conflict. Set only 10 years from now, the world hasn't changed much except for countries throughout Europe and the middle east have spread into neutral territories. The Hero; Frankenstein, a grizzled old man that you can imagine as the type of guy at the local bar, the old, haggard, tough guy you imagine used to be some sort of navy seal or marine. A cigar chewing grunt of a man with a mouth like a sailor and a gruff exterior, a guy you could picture having a voice like George C. Scott playing Gen. Patton, raspy and gruff. An attitude that you can respect and fear because he'd take whatever's thrown at him and still keep coming back, a re-animated Rambo(sans-Good Samaritan bravado).
enough character talk...the meat of the story involves Franky getting called out to the middle east, gung-ho to bash anyones skull in. Leads into finding out he's attacking a colony of experimented subjects the U.S. and U.K. Governments had been using and dumping, leaving Franky as clean up so no one catches wind of it....giving way to a host of betrayal by all governments he's come in contact with over his years alive. Revenge, espionage, Über-violence, big explosions, and flying pigs.....all those things people want.
